1990 Massachusetts Bay Community College Wellesley, MA

The 1990 meeting was chaired by John Jacobs at Massachusetts Bay Community College, with his usual panache. The theme was Math 4 the Fun of It. There were five presentations each hour, computer workshops, free software for all participants, two poetry readings, and two songs! There were two seatings for lunch! Those not eating were participating in Math 4 the Fun of It, a collection of songs and poetry. And there were continuous showings of films on Chaos and on Fractals, and tapes from the ACM SIGGRAPH. (Association of Computing Machinery Special Interest Group on Graphics)

Also, John actually printed a 124 page bound proceedings of the meeting. In the introduction, John thanked MBCC President Roger Van Winkel and the Mass Bay Foundation for support and the financing of the proceedings.
