5th Annual NEMATYC Fall Dinner/Speaker Event

The 5th NEMATYC Fall Dinner/Speaker Event was held Friday September 20, 2013, at the Wildwood Steakhouse in Marlborough.

The speaker was Thomas Tucker of Colgate University, and his title was “Differentials in Exile”. (Did you know that other disciplines handle partial derivatives in a more practical and easier fashion than mathematicians?)

In a drawing at the event Autumn Alden won a registration to this Fall’s AMATYC conference in Anaheim, worth over $300! Autumn is mentioned in the News from our Campuses and Colleagues, from Bristol CC, as a new full-time colleague. Congratulations to Autumn on both counts!
